Hey I was just wondering, would it be a good idea to cut or melt my stock GT springs to lower my car? I hear some say its very unreliable and don't do it, but these are people that don't know much about cars so I just have to ask you guys to make sure.

its not a good idea to cut the stock springs because it you can never get the right consistacy in each spring.

and when you cut the springs your car tends to bounce every time you hit a bump.

the best way to do it is to spend 200 bucks and get yourself a nice set of springs.. you have to remember this affects your ride quality alot, so its worth the investment.
