Hey I was just wondering, would it be a good idea to cut or melt my stock GT springs to lower my car? I hear some say its very unreliable and don't do it, but these are people that don't know much about cars so I just have to ask you guys to make sure.

cut spring are not a bad idea, but it tend to kill your shocks. The way I went I got custom lowered shock with shortend sruts & ground control coil overs.
