 noise in reverse |

my tranny makes a weird noise while the car is moving and engaged in reverse. while im moving and i shift to neutral. the noise stops. it doesnt make the noise if im not moving. wtf? does this happen to anyone else? can it be fixed?

sure it isn't it?
as you speed up the spur gears clash more and just make more noise. er, spur = reverse um, i figured they would last a shorter life, but that the engaged a lot faster like, there is no slipping into the gear, just a straight in kind-of approach... either way, if it is only in reverse and it stops when you disengage the clutch, then yea...id still say its just the spur gear doing its thing --------------------  |
