I support getting rid of the off-topic section also. I used to like it a lot, but things are getting ridiculous.

I dont understand why people are getting all huffed up about, this OT section is the most mildest I've ever seen. Theres no cursing, theres not much personal attacking that you see on other sites, theres no porn, I mean the most risque picture is of Mercedes in front of the supra, and she's fully clothed. People argue, so what its natural, its the only way people learn and interact, arguing isnt a bad thing and it isnt a big deal at all. The site is getting bigger, which means theres more ideas & beliefs floating around.
The tone has been created already for the website, that you should keep it clean, within tasteful boundaries. That has been done, and the mods are here to keep it that way. This is a "family-oriented site" however the range of ages is 15-30. I think thats the demographic the site should cater to. OT is an opportunity to get to know the members better, see what they think, why they think it, what they like to do outside of going to this site. THAT is why this site will remain clean, because its not a bunch of strangers really. Its the most close-knit forum around because its small and because we have a clean OT section. And thats all I got to say about that. -------------------- |
