Hey I was just wondering, would it be a good idea to cut or melt my stock GT springs to lower my car? I hear some say its very unreliable and don't do it, but these are people that don't know much about cars so I just have to ask you guys to make sure.

Springs are engineered for your car...they're that length for a reason; they are that stiffness for a reason, too. You're throwing off all the science behind them when you alter them in any way.
