Im sure this question has been asked b4 but im lazy and didnt feel like searching...but is there a reason the rubber rings are around the headlights? cause mine keep popping out and i put them back in but they just keep coming off...can i just take them off or do they actually serve a purpose? also the rubber strip that goes across the hood can that be taken off? cause mine is starting to curl up on the ends and it looks really stupid

Im just guessing that it might be there to keep water from seeping into the headlights? I remember when i put in my Halogen bulbs i noticed that one side was sticking out so i popped it back in
