i got my celica for a $1000...but i dont want to run my 7afe i want a 3sgte i have $1700 and + my buy check...i got the celica cuz my other car was goin to some changes that goin to take time and money... so i got the celica to go to work.....im realy not to much in to the imports but my older brother told me to put the 3s in it .......work dose it take to make a 96 st 1.8 in to a 5 spd 3sgte

hehe try reading the stickies or searching. it takes alot u would need a whole front clip which would be around 2500, then whatever the labor would be, oh ya and a gt or m2r tranny, then it needs to be converted into fwd (think it requries changing some axes in the tranny). pretty labor intensive, prolly another 1500-2000 if u don't do it yourself. that topic is the most talked about thing on the board thats why there is stickies for it at the top of the board, try checking them out next time.
