I will soon replace my front speakers b/c they're shot and I'm also gonna get a couple subs. My friend will do the installation for me
 . I just wanted to ask for your opinion on what brands are best. Should I change the stock head unit, too? Thanks

Yeah your friend's not allowed to talk about car audio anymore either. a HU will do 10 times better than new speakers. Alpine for HU, Alpine for speakers if you're on a budget. JL for subs Do your own research about amps, they're tricky. Make sure you get one based on RMS and not Peak power |
