Το ασημί έρχεται πρώτο στις προτιμήσεις των αγοραστών σε όλο τον κόσμο. Αυτό είναι το αποτέλεσμα σχετικής έρευνας που απέδειξε πως το 27% όλων των νέων αυτοκινήτων στον κόσμο το 2004 έφεραν το συγκεκριμένο χρώμα. Το ασημί, μάλιστα, παρουσίασε αύξηση σε σύγκριση με τα στοιχεία του 2003 κατά 3%. Κόκκινο και άσπρο μοιράζονται τη δεύτερη θέση καθώς προτιμήθηκαν από το 14% των αγοραστών. Το μαύρο ακολούθησε με 13%. Συνολικά 12% των αυτοκινήτων ήταν μπλε και 5% ήταν πράσινα. Τα υπόλοιπα χρώματα κατέλαβαν συνολικά το 11% της αγοράς. Πρέπει να σημειωθεί πως σε κάποιες χώρες το ποσοστό των νέων ασημί αυτοκινήτων ξεπέρασε το 38%.

The silver comes first in the preferences of purchasers in all the world. This is the result of relative research that proved that the 27% of all new cars in the world in 2004 brought the particular colour. The silver presented increase compared to the elements 2003 at 3%. Red and white they are shared the second place kacw's they were preferred by the 14% of purchasers. The black followed with 13%. In total 12% of cars was blue and 5% was greens.
