On my way to work this morning I hopped on the highway and I was going about 20 km/hour and then boooooom from behind. I was like shiet... It was so god dam loud and the impact was pretty hard. Anyhow I get out of my car and I looked at my rear driver side bumber. Guess what I saw? It was normal. Only a little paint chip the size of a MM chocolate candy. I looked at the car that hit me and his Nissan Altima was somewhat dented. So all I did was take his phone number as well as his license plate since there was no damage.

What would you guys do if your bumber looked normal plus your in the middle of the highway?

Arggg you beat me to it White..I was just going to say to make sure you check your paint. Bcus I was rear ended and the b!tch hit me twice then drove off. And the paint on the frt stretched. Since the FRTS and RR bumpers are plastic/polyurethane the paint stretched abd caused that web like look to it.

But I think that dealer is screwing you. Bcus if that's all the damage to it then all they're going to do is strip the existing paint and repaint it. I think they just tell you you need a NEW bumper to get more $$$ outta ya...when all they really do is touch up your current bumper and tell you it's new! But the estimate the toyota adjuster gave me just to do all that cost $300. mad.gif
I'm probably going to hold off on repairing that until it really starts to chip...bcus you can't hardly notice it.

Good luck man...and sorry about your misfortune. frown.gif
