If I got a nitrous system for my 7afe, and later swaped in a 3sgte, could I easily swap the nitrous as well? Is it practical to have a turbo car with no2?
Also, is it legal to use no2 on the street? |

Most people relate PSI to the amount of boost a turbo makes. You intake pressure is not signifigantly increased by spraying nitrous oxide. N2O is sprayed into the intake and when heated(to approx 570 deg F) the oxygen and nitrogen seperate. This makes more oxygen available for cumbustions and thus more fuel must be added. Else you'll run lean and cook a piston or another important part. With more oxygen present and more fuel present durring combustion cylinder pressure is increased. High cylinder pressure and high heat is what burns up motors which is why you gotta take the right precautions when using it. |
