It's real dirty under my hood and I want some tips on how to clean it.

i know a guy who had just bought a 91 supra turbo had it for a week, he went to wash it at a self wash popped the hood and used that engine spray stuff cleand the engine good but after he got done and started the engine, he was pulling out of the wash and boom, had something to do with the alternator and some **** so be very carefull when doin that crap with the engine
