I am going to get a remote start kit for my car. I've been told that no shop will install it on my car b/c its a stick. If that is truly the case, has anyone ever installed it on their car, and if you did, can you give me a how to on installing it?
Thanks alot, Jeremy Oh yeah, whats a good brand to get. I don't need an alarm really, just the remote starter. |

and that member is the owner - Coomer back on topic: you just need a clutch bypass sensor. Theres a sensor that is activated when the clutch is depressed, this is why the car wont start unless the clutch is in, or how cruise control turns off if you press the clutch. You need to bypass this. Then, its basically just an automatic. HOWEVER!!!!! You need to leave the car in neutral, I dont think this of a problem figuring I just set my ebrake and go.... but alot of people leave it in neutral. I think Chris (Coomer) created a relay that would only let him start it if it was in Neutral. Its probably more explained in the two topics that Batman posted. -Ti |
