Recently I've had both threaded oil hoses break lose and need replacement. Thats done.
Now the base fitting where the hoses connect to the engine is lose and leaks. Basically I was wondering if this is a nessecity to my turbo 5SFE, or would just the filter be okay. Its the HKS kit, and I haven't been able to find much info on it. Thanks. This post has been edited by erics1one: Oct 28, 2004 - 1:23 AM -------------------- ![]() |

The main reason for the relocater is access. With the 3sgte manifold and DP its a really tight fit to get the oil filter off the block. Another reason for one would be if your running a 2 filter kit, you would have the "extra cleaning power" of 2 filters and be able to hold a bit more oil than normal. Id really like to ssee how you have it setup also if you have pics. -------------------- Member of Team 5sfTe
