Recently I've had both threaded oil hoses break lose and need replacement. Thats done.
Now the base fitting where the hoses connect to the engine is lose and leaks. Basically I was wondering if this is a nessecity to my turbo 5SFE, or would just the filter be okay. Its the HKS kit, and I haven't been able to find much info on it. Thanks. This post has been edited by erics1one: Oct 28, 2004 - 1:23 AM -------------------- ![]() |

Yeah, thats the main problem with the hoses. You can't really hold a bend on them to keep them away from the block, and since they're so close the heat just gets to em and they break. If I did get the filter fitted on the block would it be too close to the heat? Also, does the circular fitting on the block just screw on? Or is it sealed some other way?
