Does toyota have a special tool that fits in those small holes to remove the rear lights instead of taking the whole rear apart? I broke the small corner snap when I removed the rear plastic panel.

You should't have to remove the rear plastic panel. The corners at the back have off memory 3 or 4 large round
plastic covers with bulb symbols on them. Its just a matter of twisting them off, this will reveal a hole where you can push a deep socket head( as pressure 2 says) inside to loosen the nuts which hold the rear light assemblies. By the way if you try to take the plastic clips off in the future (the one you broke) remember you have to press the center part of the clip in with a screwdriver and then pull out the outer part of the clip. |
