 Oil Relocator needed on a turbo 5SFE? |

Recently I've had both threaded oil hoses break lose and need replacement. Thats done.
Now the base fitting where the hoses connect to the engine is lose and leaks. Basically I was wondering if this is a nessecity to my turbo 5SFE, or would just the filter be okay. BOTH of my steel braided lines got cracks from the heat of the block.
You think a heat wrap could with stand that? I'd like to put a heat shield or something down there. There is an open threaded hole near this area and was wondering if a heat shield would fit. Even if it did, I'm not sure where I could get that piece. I think this weekend Ill attached just the filter on and see how it runs. Pics of my bay would definitely help, I'll try to get some soon. -------------------- |
