Wondering if anyone has driven their car into mexico and back, and what customs on both sides checked for etc...

If your just going for a few nights its cool, no beef there. But if your vacationing for a month or so, and plan to go beyond the territories bordering the US, you might have to get a special permit. Call your local District of Motor Vehicles. They will have info on what you would need.
What ever you do, dont fool around and get arrested. The cops out there take bribes (be it if you give them a bribe or they take it from you) and mess with your ride, ID, Passport, Belongings, etc. |
