I am going to get a remote start kit for my car. I've been told that no shop will install it on my car b/c its a stick. If that is truly the case, has anyone ever installed it on their car, and if you did, can you give me a how to on installing it?
Thanks alot, Jeremy Oh yeah, whats a good brand to get. I don't need an alarm really, just the remote starter. |

both of those are some b/s IMO. Any remote starter can be used on a manual. You still have to bypass the clutch sensor and neither comes with any thing to do it with.
I installed mine on sunday and it took like 1 hour to do. Very easy. I had to bypass the clutch system. My cruise control doesn't work b/c the clutch wires are touching, but I am going to buy an on/off switch that makes it work. When the wires touch, and you are in first gear, its like an automatic...Pretty cool Bottom line: Need to bypass the clutch to have a remote start in manual and leave it in neutral This post has been edited by Jeremy1210: Nov 4, 2004 - 8:13 PM |
