I am going to get a remote start kit for my car. I've been told that no shop will install it on my car b/c its a stick. If that is truly the case, has anyone ever installed it on their car, and if you did, can you give me a how to on installing it?

Thanks alot,
Jeremy

Oh yeah, whats a good brand to get. I don't need an alarm really, just the remote starter.

what the heck are you smoking^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

think about that for a second.....with out the clutch being PHYSICALLY pushed in you CANNOT remote start your car in gear WIHTOUT rolling into sumthing/someone

an manual car with remote start MUST BE LEFT IN NEUTRAL

what are you talking about?

clifford developed a system for manual transmissions. you CAN START YOU CAR with the caR in gear.

for those who know clifford alarms they make the top of the line alarm system for cars. the local clifford dealer wil have a promotion contest every year or so.

the contest, anyone who can break into the car, start it, and drive it around the block (system will stall out the car)will win whatever car they are giving out.

time frame they give you 1hour

well back to the subject, my girl has the system in her car (manual) and it starts it up perfectly, doesnt have to be in gear.
