Ok, but seriously, when the car flexes as in acceleration and decelleration with stop and go city driving, it makes this funny squeaking noise. It's not constant or anything, just a brief "eek-errk" and that's it. It's annoying as hell driving through neighborhoods with stop signs. As the description mentioned, it sounds like dry rubber or something. Could it be any of the bushings or motor/tranny mounts? Any suggestions are welcome.

I think it's just cause of the way toyota made our stocked brake pads. I got mine changed and now have generic brake pads and it doesn't make the sound anymore. It was annoying to go through parking garages cause it was so loud in those garages.
I was going cheap but you may wanna get the good stuff. The green stuff. |
