I think your really grasping for anyhting there man, all those pictures being faked to fool the 5 people who have probably seen that page just defies all logic.
No doubt the hood could be fake. If your whole arguement is for the hood been fake then ya, but the engine, I dont think so. To much black around the engine? Its an oversast day. The part I find hard to believe is he found 2 pictures with the perfect angle, lighting, and resolution to transplant into his car. Also look at the second picture, the "t symbol" lines up to the very same spot as the picture with the hood closed. Anyone with some touch up could patch the edge that was cut, also not everyone has money to burn all the time, so likely after finishing a swap he didnt have another grand to spend on molding a hood scoop and paint.
