Hi all,
I drive a 96' Celica GT. Recently, I purchased a set of indiglo gauges of ebay and installed them. The gauges work and light up nicely, however, I believe I spliced it incorrectly. I tapped the parking lights for these gauges. Took the instrumentation cluster out, spliced into a green wire (parking lights) on the left side behind the dash, and grounded the negative end to the chassis. The gauges light and dim without a problem, but now my right side marker light does not light. I was thinking the gauges were drawing too much power for the side marker to be operating, but that doesn't make much sense. Perhaps I shorted it? Any thoughts or help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ed |

I would pop the bulb out and check if there is any voltage across it.
If there is not much in the guage but some led's, and it sounds like you ran it in parallel with the lights you will probably have around .7 V which won't be enough to run the light. But can't be certain w/o a schematic. |
