In the forum 3si.org (which my housemate moderates on) a very stupid and silly thread has broken out.
The 3000GT VR4 is almost the exact same as the JDM only Mitsu GTO- in USDM release Mitsu changed the name to avoid upsetting pontiac (as well as badging changes; different front turn likes and changing LHD and RHD) However, people in the US who have done the conversion have started calling their cars GTOs- although their title says 3000GT VR4. Same engine, same tranny (some models of the GTO have different gear ratios- some) The poster of this thread stated that he hated people who called their cars GTO; and that it will never be a GTO. What do you guys think? Thread here So, what makes a GT4? I realize in our cars, we have the problem of AWD- but if someone completed a full swap- AWD and everything (including badging) Would it be a GT4? Or just a GT (or even ST hehe) in GT4's clothing? I'm inclined to believe that it would be a GT4.. just not a very stable one ![]() |

even with it all done and completed perfect
it would still be BOOTLEG just how you burn a cd...say specs but its not the real thing... as for the badging i thinking it would be ok to sport the gt4 just cuz most people dont know what they are and people already sport it by putting on the gt4 raisers... |
