Hello,
I just talked to my ex-girlfriend's friend, and she's moving and selling the rims off of her car, and she wondered if I wanted to buy them. They are 16" Focal Z1 ten spoke rims in silver and they're in pretty good shape, and they have Cooper 205/65R16 tires on them. Two of the tires are in great shape, but two of them are close to bald and need to be replaced pretty soon. She wants $300 for the rims and tires. What do you guys think? Do you think that these rims are worth buying at that price? I'm debating whether I want to or not because I'd have to buy new tires. If I don't buy these rims I'm going to need new tires anyway however, and the rims would look much better than my current 14" ones. What would you guys do? Here's a pic: ![]() -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Ghost Dogs right, I had a hell of a problem getting my GT4 to pass its European standards test(SVA). The 17" rims give you an under reading on your speedo , when tested on a rolling road I was actually driving 5mph faster than the speedo read( one good point if your speedo is readingl ower then your mileage will be less, not much though). The speedo on the Gt4 is calibrated for a 15" rim so I begged and borrowed a set from a nearby dealer for the test. As for the rims go for it, I used to have 16" speedlines on my last celica and they looked good, Jon |
