My VAC is between -19 & -21 at idle, but when I try to boost and it reaches 0 lbs, I lose power. My RPMs are normally around 2500-3000 when this happens. If I punch it (which I hardly ever do) I can get it above 0 lbs and boost fine.
The turbo has no shaft play, and was installed a couple of weeks ago. I'll be bringing it down to the shop today, but wanted to see if anyone here knew what it might be. Thanks. -------------------- ![]() |

It usually sits between -19 to -21.
I still get a lot of resistance/hesitation below ~2700 rpms untill the boost kicks in. Pretty sure thats typically normal with this kit, but am interested to see how much a dyno tune will correct which I plan on doing soon. -------------------- ![]() |
