Ok so I finally bought my system, everythings installed (I should have pictures in by sunday). So here's everything:
Head unit: Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X579 Speakers: Pair of 6" Infinity reference component speakers Amp: 600 watt Rockford Fosgate Amp Subs: 1 10" Kicker Comp CVR in a bandpass enclosure My question is, with this setup does anyone think I could compete very successfully in car audio comps? Any suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated. Freddy -------------------- Fred

good for what? db has nothing to do with sound quality which is what a sound system is for. btw, you didnt hit 175db. this guy had 5 -9900 DD 15" powered by 20 amps with over 20,000 watts rms total and only hit 175.9db.
http://www.termpro.com/asp/competitorstats...190&Season=2004 yup, 175db is loud, but there no way in hell youve hit it. his setup was purely for loudness and guaranteed it sounded like ****. This post has been edited by rocky2006: Nov 25, 2004 - 10:44 PM -------------------- ![]() |
