I am looking to tint my Celica and wanted some hints and tips. I have heard that unless you really know what you're doing, you should leave it to a professional. If this is true, how do I go about finding a local shop that will do a quality job and use good tint?
It looks like from the chart linked below that here in NC, I'm looking at 35% tint. How much is a quality black tint going to run parts and labor? http://www.iwfa.com/iwfa/Law_Chart/State%20Law%20Chart.htm |

I think tint shouldn't turn purple unless you don't clean it, I think most places suggest you clean it with a silicon cleaning solution after a month, I've had mine for almost a year and there is no purple. About solar guard being crap, I couldn't tell you every where I went had it, but as long as the shop warranties it for life I don't care
