Well like the topic says i need some help repairing a 89 civic hatchback. The repairs are just cosmetic so far that i can tell. Oh and well guys i guess the car is mine FOR THE MOMENT I am fixing it up, learning more about hondas plus body work, for my friend until she sells her car and takes this one off my hands. So i am just holding it for her. Anyway, she is pretty cool and like me she doesnt want a RICED out civic. We agreed on a ALL black theme, kind of a stealth mode look biggrin.gif . So i have been trying to do some research on the car BUT of course just like damn honda, there are too many of them so its difficult to begin. I found out through a honda fanatic friend of mine that there is a jdm civic front end conversion available out on the market. The parts are pretty much identical with a JDM 88-91 crx also. But from what i can tell so far the ONLY difference is the bumper. The hood, lights, fenders (except the jdm side makers) look identical. If there is anyone out there that can help me out getting confirmation i would appreciate it. Just as an FYI i dont really plan on spending that much money on this car, AT MOST, give or take, maybe $3-400 just in cosmetics (body, and interior). My friend says she will later swap another motor in it, just for a lil more power and reliability (b16a or b18).

David
