Ok so I finally bought my system, everythings installed (I should have pictures in by sunday). So here's everything:
Head unit: Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X579 Speakers: Pair of 6" Infinity reference component speakers Amp: 600 watt Rockford Fosgate Amp Subs: 1 10" Kicker Comp CVR in a bandpass enclosure My question is, with this setup does anyone think I could compete very successfully in car audio comps? Any suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated. Freddy -------------------- Fred

QUOTE(rocky2006 @ Nov 26, 2004 - 3:16 AM) that doesnt make it good. what makes it good is the sound quality. the point of a good system is to have it sound good. I could not agree more. Is about the sound quality. I had 14 speakers on my 5gen Celica and competed on the 250watts. I won several times. I tuned my system with my RTA (Audio Control). The sound was extremely nice. back to original question... Freddy, with that set up and 600 watts amplifier you wont get too far. Just enjoy your music and dont give away your money on competition. ![]() |
