Hey Yall....

Has this ever happend to you?

Okay, this morning I slept in like an hour before I go to school.... I was like "CRAP!" and got ready for school as fast as I could. Once I was all done getting ready for school, I grab my stuff, grab my keys, and run out the door to my celica.

It was a very cold morning, frost everywhere! Thick frost, might I add. I go to the trunck, stick the key in to unlock it and I litteally had to pry open the trunck cuz it frosted over. I throw my stuff in, shut it, then go to get in the car. I stick the key in the door.... Ha! it wouldn't even budge! I couldn't even stick the key in i was so frozen!

So here I am with a car completely frozen over, and running late for school. LOL I run to the trunk, grab my stuff and had to walk. Luckily... I live within a block of my school... Im just a lazy ass and drive everyday, when I could just walk 50 feet to the school.

I knew I shoulda put my celica out the cold and into the carport.... rolleyes.gif Oh well

But yeah, what do you do if your car is frozen over like that? LOL this is my 1st car so I dont really know rolleyes.gif

Do ya just throw on hot water?

when there use to be ice all over my car before school and i was late, sometimes the keyhole in the door would be frozen shut. So i would take some water slowy pour it over the keyhole and then quickly get my key in before that water froze too. It sucked later on bc that water would freeze in there as well. But when you are late, you go with the fast and temp solution.

I also learned to drive with my backpack in my lap or under my legs in the foot well. This way i could save time from needing to grab it from the back seat or the trunk when i was really late!
