A 17" wheel thats 14" wide is a rediculous thought. First of all, I really highly doubt they make street tires that wide and small of diameter, and drag slicks arent for street use so thats out of the picture.
Also, the offset would have to be HUGE to work on a car like a celica, and then you'd have the profile of a steamroller going down the street. Unless steamroller is the look youre going for...in which case you'll achieve it. If you want lots of grip and some wide meat in the wheel wells, get a 17x8 or 17x8.5 and lower it with some good coilovers like Tein or Tanabe. But I don't really understand why such a wide wheel....like Kwanza said, its kinda pointless and better results can be achieved with much better methods. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
