so yesterday im out cleaning up the glass outta my car, and taking the door panel off so i can easily put the new glass in when i get it... i guess when i closed my door i didnt close it all the way, so my battery died... i get my jump box thing (which didnt have enough juice to start my car), and put that on, and nothing... the car was getting no power.... so i toggle this switch and press this button

which i believe are linked to the factory alarm i had in the car, but had removed.... so it gets power, enough to power locks, windows, etc, but not enough to start the car... well later somebody comes home and can jump the car, so we hook everything up and it goes back to being completely dead... its not getting any power, and i know its related to my old alarm... so does anybody have any suggestions, or know exactly what that switch and button do? they're in the little part below the steering wheel with the fuses.... thanks...
