hey guys if you look at the pic i've posted below, the 2 spot's i've circled, there's a hose connecting it. i believe that's the breather hose, am i right? so i'm wondering, if i remove the hose and replace the 2 outlets with breather filters, will it work? what will happen after replacing it? will i get like more air into the engine? maybe slight gain of hp?

There are many threads about either running a hose or venting the PCV system. Some go to their intake manifold, some go to their turbo intake.
From the mr2oc.com forums... QUOTE(byron @ Nov 29, 2004) Do you have any vacuum supply going to the crankcase? A turbo requires a good PCV system. The small filter on the valve cover is most likely not sufficient...The OEM 3SGTE PCV is actually well designed. The small hose (going to the intake mani) provides vacuum at idle...and the large hose from valve cover to turbo intake provides vacuum under boost. The turbo and engine will function better with the slight vacuum on the crankcase at all times. I'll be running my PCV into my turbo intake this weekend.
