Ok guys, I saw somewhere the fact that our stock shocks can only handle a 1.5" drop, is this true? the reason Im asking is because Intrax offers a drop around 1.8" in the front and 1.7" in the rear ( I think), and if I did put these springs on, would there be any problems?

![]() there's an old pic of my car back when i had INTRAX springs, and 16s. AWESOME ride on the INTRAX, and no suspension problems. i got rid of them though for the Ground Control coilovers, and after more than a year on them, i'm just now starting to feel something that vaguely feels like blown struts..so that's a year on 1.75" springs, then more than a year on 2.25" drop coilovers. so if you're on a budget, i'd say you could go a while w/o getting struts, but it's always a good idea, i need to, but too broke. and as far as cutting springs goes..i'd never do it, but i gotta set of the stiffer 97 6th gen springs i will sell someone, if that's the way they wanna go..this way, you got a backup set if somethin messes up, and they won't cost nearly as much as drop springs. if you want em, reply, or PM me. ![]() -John- -------------------- |
