Hello... I have a 97 Celica ST with 83k mi. on it, 6k of which are mine, but I was pretty new at driving stick for the first couple of months- I'm pretty sure my clutch plate is burnt. (I can feel serious transmission slip and even see it on the tachometer.) Has anyone put a clutch other than the standard one in their celica? What do you guys think, should I go for a better one? I'm not sure yet what's out there. Thanks..

You should just get a OEM clutch kit. Like lots of people above said, it's not worth upgrading the clutch, if you don't have power to even need it. And clutch kit should come with everything you need to replace the clutch.. Like throw out bearing, friction plate, pressure plate, blah blah. Good luck smile.gif
