I am is utter disbelief. This is a horrible tragedy. I fear going to concerts now and really pray for the members of my favorite bands. I am glad all of the venues that I go to have metal detectors. For those of you who dont know, Dimebag Darrell was the former guitarist for Pantera, and was with his new band Damageplan along with his brother Vinnie Paul. Ive seen him, Dimebag plays guitar like a madman... It is a huge loss. |

As a tribute...Lets all post whatever you want about the man and then list your favorite Pantera/Damageplan song as they were most likely written in part by Dimebag Darrell
To start off... I was only fortunate enough to see him on the headbangers ball tour with Damageplan this year. It was awesome, and his array of guitars he brings to each concert is crazy. The rack i saw had like an easy dozen or more guitars of his up there. I really wish I would have saw him with Pantera. There concerts had to have been nuts. My favorite song is Cemetary Gates |
