I know that California celicas have less horses because of emmision laws. But what reduces the power. Is it a chip or a restricter plate kinda thing. How easy would it be to make a non CA celica legal for CA (better yet a turn CA celica to a non legal and then turn it back when ever i need to)
Its a potenial 5 hp that might not be to hard to get. |

I just got a 1996 Celica GT that was bought in California. I never knew it lost performace...is the torque also affected? I don't even live in California (Arizona), so I must say I feel a little cheated
