I hear left and right that RHD drives cars are illegal in the USA. Now my questions is, are they illegal b/c THEY ARE RHD or b/c of the other little things? Like 1. NO EGR? 2. The DOT stuff (sorry dont remember anything about that)? Or both, which is it? From what i hear there are people here and there that have RHD cars here in the US even HERE in L.A. Ive seen a R32 around here and i think a R33. But I'm not sure if they have been registered. If registering them were such a big deal are then how are they on the streets? How do i get me a RHD car and get it registered? I'll make most of the changes that are needed like the DOT approved stuff if thats all it takes to register it.
Sorry i was bored as you can tell in the middle of the night so this was troubling my head ![]() Later, David |

I got a happy meal for my graduation. I wish i was spoiled and could get something like that. Anyway, so if a RHD gt4 or a s15 was imported here and a USDM (5sfe or KA24) motor was dropped into it plus all the other DOT stuff were done to it JUST to get it registered be enough to get it on the road? Then swap everything back in? David |
