Well, my "shaved door kit" just arrived today so I will be installing tomorrow. Anybody have any hints/tips before I get started?

What are you using to open your doors? What kind of system? alarm or another unit. Solenoid should be wired to one of these. The head unit should get power from the battery or another CONSTANT on 12v source. The solenid shuold only get power from the brain.
