Say i purchase a GTfour form japan and it gets sent over....... what do i have to do to get it leagal..... i know this has been asked but how much does it cost...?

vin swap
buy a 94 ST that is pure junk and use it for emissions checks and safety inspections then have the vin plates removable so u can swap them between cars btw, make sure its the same color car or wait till the car is 14 years old(i think its 14, maybe 15) and have it imported to canada, legaly then, any car thats in canada can be brought into the US with no taxes. just drive it down and get it registered and inspected, they cant just deny the car This post has been edited by 97sccelica: Dec 19, 2004 - 12:01 PM -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
