My name is Ron and I work for Motors Unlimited out of California. For years I have been an extreme Toyota enthusiest as well as high performance Japanese Toyota engine importer. For references please go to Xcars.com or the Mr2 message boards and do a search for Motors Unlimited. We are Toyota only engine importers and we specialize in bringing late model and hard to find Jdm complete engine swaps.
We currently have a complete St205 Celica alltrac front clip with the 245hp 3sgte engine and air to water intercooler. This front clip can be purchased with or without the body parts which are in good condition. Also comes equipped with tein coilovers. Please call or email me as if you post to this forum I might not get back with you as fast. For accurate pricing to your location please give us a call at (909) 283-3778 and ask for Ron the Toyota specialist. In addition, we also have Mr2 complete rear clips with Lsd Transmissions, St185 3sgte Celica front clips, Levin and Treuno complete 4agze front clips, and 4age 20 valve front clips. All of these engines will fit into the 94+ Celica. _________________ Ron (909) 283-3778 Motors Unlimited |

Its also a fact that with the money that you save from buying a 2nd gen you can easily match and surpass the stock power of a 3rd gen. I would love to argue about it more but this isnt the place. Sorry to thread jack... the 3rd gen is a great engine.
I'd also like to ask you the question of where someone is going to get parts for the 3rd gen when someone here in the states needs something. Are you going to be able to keep people satisfied by making sure they are able to get what they need when they cant get here? This post has been edited by Doge: Dec 17, 2004 - 4:41 PM |

With all due respect, your comments are more suited for posts that are about 4 years old. Everyone use to say the same thing about buying a 2nd gen and saving money to surpass the power of the 3rd gen. That might be possible in its absolute stock trim. However what us Mr2 owners have come to find out is that once you modify, such as intake, exhaust, downpipe, boost controller, you will be in a totally different realm with a 3rd gen. Those mods listed will get you into the 12's bottom line!! You will be in the mid to low 13's with the 2nd gen. This is not speculation, it is fact and has been proven by more then one Mr2 owner. And not being able to find 3rd gen parts is also a bit primitive as there is more then one Toyota dealership that stocks these parts. Jay Marks Toyota out of Texas stocks 3rd gen parts like water pump, oil pump, engine rebuild kit, cap and rotor, timing belt ect, for wholesale to the community. In addition, I supply our customers with 3rd gen parts from Japan as well. Again, I am not trying to knock you at all, but the comments you have made are a bit out dated. |
