So i wanted to know what you guys who are 'In the Know' think about this:
other then engine displacemnt and obvious advantages the 3sgte has i want to know what you guys think is more worth wild. Iv been doing alot of my homework and have basiclly decided on simply swaping my 5s-fe with a 3s-gte, BUT i was wondering what you guys WITH either 3s-gte's or 5s-fte's think about it. What seems more worth is, AND if i were to turbo a 5s-fe how much boost can i push safely with out any internal work? All of your imput would be very helpfull... -------------------- ![]() |

Hm, touch a nerve, did I? I doubt my automotive knowledge is up to yours. But give me this, i'm no slouch. 2 yrs of auto tech and i've helped perform 2 h22 swaps into accords, help build a b18c1, t3/t4 sr20 turbo upgrade, and only enough to destory a 3000gt's engine. (dropped a washer in the intake manifold. but i still think it was one of the hicks that did it in my autotech class. They didnt care for me and my 4bangin friends.)
I highly doubt the toyota researchers would waste money boosting a 5s, just so they could say "what if". I'm sure they beat on it to find it's limits, but no boost. But hey, prove me wrong. -------------------- NASA/SCCA RX-7....currently under the knife
