So I got to work today, was browsing Craig's List, and came across a '95 Celica with a salvage title for sale. I was out of work on my way home and then to Seattle within minutes. Three hours later, I was the owner of this:
Yeah, it's pretty beat up, and purple, and a slushbox, and the tranny makes lots of noise at idle, but I'm very happy with it. Drove it three hours home with no problems at all, despite being told it has a blown head gasket. The car has 114,000 miles and the engine and tranny both feel strong and smooth. Whaddaya guys think? I don't think it's too bad for $350.

You sure do have a funny way of retiring from the tuning world coomer... ;] Then again, for 350.00... I would have bought it also... =P Have fun with it...
