 help cutting down crash bar, to fit in gt-4 bumper |

Hey,
I just picked up the gt-4 hood/bumper combo and I need to trim down the crash bar in my car so that it will fit under the new bumper. Does anyone know what I have to do for this? Is it that silver one on mine...or should I say the remains of the silver one? I guess GTs are different than STs, huh?
