SO my car's been at the shop since monday. I just went there today to check and see how things were going. All that needs to be done: install the new RR Bumper....install and paint the skirts. The RR QTR already had the big a$$ dent from someone backing into me painted. So I scoop it up on monday!!! I can't wait. Thank god for insurance!! biggrin.gif
Looks brand spanking new!!

And where did you find the skirts?

EDIT: 1000th post.  I feel bad.  I'm on this page far too much.

I got them through the dealers. Just ordered them up....at first the parts guy wasn't sure if you could still order them. But he thought why couldn't you since it didn't say "Closed" when he looked them up. He said that he would think you'd be able to order them bcus what if you had body damage to them and you needed to replace them even if it came with your car. Only took 3 days to ship them. Plus I hear that all dealers have to carry parts for cars up to 7 yrs within its production date.

Oh and today...well yesterday I spoke with another body guy that was doing the work to my car and he told me what they actually do. He said something like when they search for them they look to see what other dealers still have them in stock and in their computer systems. And this is nation wide....once they find them they just put in an order for them. SO it IS possible to order them from the Toyota dealers.

What sux is it costs an arm n a leg for each though....It was $205.37 ea. but he gave them to me for $184. Like I said thank god for insurance.
