Does anyone have their heat shield painted? ive painted mine with that paint for 1600* and it still burnt off. Did i do something wrong?

im gonna try again, im also going to wrap the pies with thermo wrap.
first time i stripped it with a dremel all the way down to where it was shiny, then i primed it with the 1200* primer, i dont think i let it cure long enough, im gonna do it again with 1200* alluminum |
