I have no family and we have no tree. We dont do anything on holidays. We go to our seperate rooms and thats it. Then my bro and i try to tell my mom that we just dont have x-mas and she gets pissed! and she then turns it into as us getting mad that we dont get x-mas presents which isnt true - it just would be nice if we had a big family that got together or if that christmas spirit was there.
I just hope you guys realize how neat it is that you guys have what you have and that i wish i was you guys. Atleast i have the health of my family :-( well most of my family! funny I though thanksgiving was a celebration over the big feast that both sides shared when the native people accepted the new people onto there lands and into there homes, it was not till later we screewed them over and jacked there sh%t.
I always love watching those shows on the history channel about what the bibal really says when you translate it correnctly, and how most the miracals are not what they really are maid out to be in the current translation. kinda makes it show how gulable people can be some times. (sorry if I affend anyone with that statment(s) just my opinion) This post has been edited by creis: Dec 26, 2004 - 7:34 PM -------------------- ![]() |

Ya I know what Thanksgiving is supposed to be about, Canadian kids are fed all the stories just the same. But I doubt Native American families celibrate the holiday to any large extent This post has been edited by Uppitycracker: Dec 26, 2004 - 8:08 PM |
