if i have my 17's (tires are 215/40/17) on and i got a flat, would it be alright to put on the stock 15 inch rim with a 185/60/15 snow tire just to get home. also would that tire fit in the spare tire well. i would check but i still dont have my baby.... tis another week at least

Yes, that would work. Just keep your speeds low and don't try taking corners fast or anything. I had to rock my spare once when one of my front tires blew out doing 50. The funny thing was that I was on my way to class, and right after class I had the appointment scheduled for Les Schwab to put on my new tires.
