My digital camera won't let me transfer files to the memory card from the computer unless I update the drivers for the camera which is fine with me but my wife likes the default windows drivers which are easier for her. My question is this. Can I set up each user account to load a different driver for the camera? If so, how? I have Windows XP Pro and the camera is a Kodak CX6330.

QUOTE(Ale_lock @ Dec 29, 2004 - 4:12 PM) I don't understand how updated drivers can change the difficulty of accessing the camera.... Because of the way windows handles the device. Since Windows automaticly loads it's own generic drivers for the camera when it's detected and the picture transfer wizard pops up automaticly and this is how my wife likes it. I, on the other hand, prefer that the camera be treated as a removable storage device instead of a camera which is what these other drivers do. Does that help any? -------------------- ![]() Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |
